Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

While pasta cooks, whisk together eggs, parmesan, cream, and black pepper in a bowl.

In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add drained pasta and toss.

Remove from heat. Pour egg mixture over pasta, tossing vigorously. The residual heat will cook the eggs into a silky sauce.

Add pasta water a splash at a time if needed. Season with salt and serve immediately with extra parmesan.
